I went to Eype beach yesterday to ‘grab some rays’ and enjoy the salt water. I was lying down relaxing when I heard footsteps ‘pounding’ towards me. Suspecting that I was about to be mugged I jumped up, only to be confronted by some furry mongrel pebble-dashing towards the sea. I was tempted to scream expletives but then looked around the beach to see that no fewer than fifteen dogs were strolling up and down.
